Jonathan Hull and Hugh Chissell were invited to present papers at the Polish Orthopaedic and Trauma Society in Kalisz, Poland in September, sharing the podium with the rather better known Joseph Schatzker from Toronto. Jonathan gave a paper on metal ion disease after metal on metal arthroplasty and one on hip arthroscopy.

Hugh presented a paper on the Vanguard XP bicruciate retaining knee replacement and one on derotation osteotomy to treat anterior knee pain. Luckily the audience were fluent in English as their Polish was limited to hello and thank you.
